Chipotle Mexican Grill’s Chief Financial Officer of over 20 years Jack Hartung will retire in March 2025.
Hartung joined Chipotle (NYSE: CMG) as CFO in 2002 after 18 years at McDonald’s Corp. in various management positions.
Hartung will remain CFO through the end of 2024 until Vice President of Finance Adam Rymer assumes the role on January 1, 2025.
“I have been fortunate to work for such a great brand with amazing people, and I am proud of the significant impact we have made on elevating food culture, as well as successfully driving our compelling growth strategy and unlocking considerable shareholder value over the years,” Hartung said in a statement.
Other executive changes include Jamie McConnell becoming chief accounting and administrative officer in January.
Chipotle is currently Orange County’s most valuable publicly traded company with a market cap of $79 billion. The restaurant chain counts over 3,500 locations.
