New Bank Opens in Irvine

Bank Irvine focuses on Chinese immigrants in OC

Bank Irvine, a state-chartered, FDIC-insured full-service commercial bank and a new Minority Depository Institution, opened today in Irvine.

Bank Irvine, located at 6201 Oak Canyon St., says it’s the first bank founded by mainland Chinese immigrants with a specific purpose to serve the predominate minority community of Orange County.

“Chinese culture, American standard will make Bank Irvine the hometown bank for our community,” said Charlie Zhang, founder of the fast-food restaurant chain Pick-up Stix and who is the vice chairman of the board.

The bank will offer a variety of products and services including personal banking, business banking, home mortgage loans, business and commercial lending, online and mobile banking, debit cards and international wires.
