Action sports apparel maker Boardriders Inc. said Tuesday it sold its Xcel wetsuit line.
The buyer was ZG Collective, which is focused on the outdoor, snow and cycling industries. The company is based out of Colorado.
Deal terms were not disclosed.
Boardriders CEO David Tanner said in a statement the sale is in line with Boardriders’ broader strategy, which focuses on its larger portfolio brands. Those include Quiksilver, Billabong, Roxy, DC Shoes and RVCA among others. He said Xcel accounts for less than 1% of Boardriders’ overall sales.
