Allied Universal Hires Brandt as CFO

Santa Ana-based Allied Universal, which is in the middle of buying a London based security firm that will make it the world's seventh largest company by employees, has hired Tim Brandt as global chief financial officer.

Brandt had worked for 30 years for Deloitte, becoming the managing partner of the Orange County office for the past four years. He will focus on the upcoming acquisition and integration of G4S, and the eventual IPO of the newly consolidated company.

Brandt replaces Andrew "Drew" Vollero, who departed for a similar role at Reddit Inc.

Brandt specialized in mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and public debt offerings. Additionally, Brandt has international experience having worked in Deloitte's office in Osaka, Japan.

“I’m looking forward to working with such a dynamic, acquisitive company and am truly impressed by the team's dedication to achieving remarkable results,” Brandt said in a statement. “My goal is to build upon the company’s history of success and capitalize on opportunities to continue to grow the business.”
