Westcliff University Expands Internationally

Addresses demand for skilled IT, cybersecurity professionals

Irvine-based Westcliff University today announced that it’s establishing its first international campus in Toronto, Canada.

The school said it chose Toronto due to the high demand for skilled IT professionals in the region.

“Toronto is a recognized force in global technological innovation, and our institution is honored to support its impressive trajectory,” Westcliff CEO and President Dr. Anthony Lee said in a statement.

“Establishing a presence in Canada enables us to deepen multinational knowledge exchange while delivering the hands-on, job-oriented education that defines Westcliff.”

Westcliff is launching a Master’s in Information Systems Technology (MIST) degree to address workforce gaps in IT and cybersecurity roles.

The campus will be located within a 50,000-square-foot space in Markham and will welcome its first cohort of students in September 2025.
