CSUF Names Three to Foundation Board

California State University-Fullerton named Mark Costa, Bill Cheney and Ingrid Otero-Smart to its philanthropic foundation’s board of governors.

Costa is executive director of Kaiser Permanente Orange County in Anaheim; Cheney is president and chief executive of SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union in Santa Ana, and Otero-Smart is president and chief executive of Casanova Pendrill in Costa Mesa.

The board is CSUF’s nonprofit auxiliary organization responsible for investing and managing gifts to the school.

The board’s chairman is Jeffrey Van Harte, chairman and chief executive of San Francisco-based equity manager Jackson Square Partners LLC and a 1980 graduate of CSUF’s business program.
