Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast Merges with Buena Park Club

Adds 3,000 youths to organization

Irvine-based Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange County is adding 3,000 more youths by merging with the Boys & Girls Club of Buena Park.
It’s the Central OC club’s second merger this year following the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Anaheim–Cypress in January. The Central OC club now serves more than 15,000 youths across 60 locations in eight cities.
“This merger strengthens our ability to serve an additional 3,000 youth, broaden our footprint, and maximize our impact across eight cities in Orange County,” Robert Santana, CEO of the Central OC club, said in a statement.
The Business Journal’s annual Philanthropy supplement is scheduled for our Sept. 1 issue.
