Military drone maker Dzyne Technologies said it plans to develop a 125,000-square-foot facility in Irvine for research and development as well as manufacturing.
“The development of the new facility is a testament to Dzyne’s strong partnership and commitment to the Department of Defense,” Matt McCue, president and co-founder of Dzyne, said in a news release today.
Dzyne said it will host a “grand opening ceremony” in the new year to showcase the facility as well as the company’s latest product offerings and manufacturing capabilities.
Virginia-headquartered Dzyne is a technology firm focused on designing and manufacturing a broad range of cutting-edge drones for the U.S. Department of Defense and other government agencies.
