Defense company Anduril Industries has introduced a Seabed Sentry, a mobile sensor network for monitoring military and commercial activity on the oceans’ floor.
“Seabed Sentry uses artificial intelligence to provide highly accurate, persistent autonomous awareness on the seafloor for commercial and military customers,” the Costa Mesa-based company said on its website today.
The statement added: “Anduril has made significant investments in several production facilities, which can soon begin producing Seabed Sentry, providing customers with the scalable, affordable technology it urgently needs.”
