Defense company Anduril Industries said it has been selected to provide collaborative mission autonomy software to the Defense Department.
The software will coordinate thousands of uncrewed and autonomous assets in areas where navigation and communications pose major difficulties.
The company did not specify the amount of money involved.
Anduril said the contract is part of the military’s Replicator Initiative, which the Pentagon says is an “effort to accelerate delivery of innovative capabilities to the warfighter at speed and scale through senior leader focus on solving a specific operational challenge.”
