Champagnes Kitchen, a longtime family-owned Newport Beach restaurant, is expanding to Huntington Beach with a new location in the heart of the city’s downtown dining district.
The restaurant known for serving American comfort food has signed a lease with Robert Koury Properties to occupy 3,950 square feet at 200 Main Street, according to Newmark.
The new restaurant occupies a former IHOP at the corner of Main Street and Olive Avenue.
Newmark associate director Vanessa Pope Brown represented Champagnes Kitchen.
The Huntington Beach location marks the first new site for Champagnes Kitchen since the opening of its flagship restaurant in Newport Beach in 1989.
The restaurant’s new home is about 1,000 square feet larger than its Newport Beach location and will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner service, along with a full bar and espresso program.
