Defense company Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa has been awarded a $99 million U.S. Air Force contract for the Thunderdome cybersecurity and computer project, industry website GovConWire reported.
Anduril will incorporate its Lattice core software into the program, which is expected to run until February 2030.
It is part of the Thunderdome Small Business Innovation Research, or SBIR, initiative.
Anduril, co-founded by OC entrepreneur Palmer Luckey, did not respond immediately to a request for confirmation.
