Business Journal Event Praises Women Executives

Over 850 gathered at the Irvine Marriott on Oct. 30 to recognize dozens of local leaders at the Business Journal’s 30th annual Women in Business Awards.

The five winners included Maria Hollandsworth, president and chief operating officer of Costa Mesa-based El Pollo Loco; Charlene Reynolds, airport director at John Wayne Airport; Claudia Bonilla Keller, chief executive officer of Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County; Laureen Driscoll, CEO of Providence South Division; and Alicia Cox, CEO and founder of Prjkt Restaurant Group. Profiles of the winners are in this week’s issue from page 1 through 12.

The JPMorgan Chase “Women on the Move” Award went to Manna Kadar of Manna Kadar of Beauty Inc.

The winners were selected from a nomination base of hundreds of women executives leading Orange County businesses, public agencies and non-profit organizations.
