Over 850 gathered at the Irvine Marriott on Oct. 30 to recognize dozens of local leaders at the Business Journal’s 30th annual Women in Business Awards.
The five winners included Maria Hollandsworth, president and chief operating officer of Costa Mesa-based El Pollo Loco; Charlene Reynolds, airport director at John Wayne Airport; Claudia Bonilla Keller, chief executive officer of Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County; Laureen Driscoll, CEO of Providence South Division; and Alicia Cox, CEO and founder of Prjkt Restaurant Group. The JPMorgan Chase “Women on the Move” Award went to Manna Kadar of Manna Kadar of Beauty Inc.
The winners were selected from a nomination base of hundreds of women executives leading Orange County businesses, public agencies and non-profit organizations.

Sonia Chung joined the Orange County Business Journal in 2021 as their Marketing Creative Director. In her role she creates all visual content as it relates to the marketing needs for the sales and events teams.
Her responsibilities include the creation of marketing materials for six annual corporate events, weekly print advertisements, sales flyers in correspondence to the editorial calendar, social media graphics, PowerPoint presentation decks, e-blasts, and maintains the online presence for Orange County Business Journal’s corporate events.
