Karma Automotive hired an executive to lead its new Silicon Valley office and its autonomous driving program.
Srini Gowda joins the Irvine-based automaker as vice president of autonomous driving and ADAS, charged with creating the division’s strategy and managing the San Jose office.
The new office, announced in October, focuses on striking technology partnerships.
The company this month underwent a round of cuts to its workforce in Irvine and Michigan.
