Shea Properties announced today Will Tipton is joining the team as Senior Vice President of Retail and Multi-Use Development.
In his new role, he will continue to grow Shea Properties’ retail footprint in the California market, focusing on acquisitions, planning, entitlement, leasing, budgeting, and construction.
Tipton brings many years of commercial real estate experience to this role, most recently as Managing Director and Partner at Merlone Geier, a private real estate investment company specializing in the acquisition, development/redevelopment of retail and retail-driven mixed-use properties. Prior to his 10+ years with Merlone Geier, Tipton held a partner role with Pacific Development Group, where he oversaw all aspects of project development. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.
