City National Bank hired Chang Lee as a senior relationship manager for its southern Orange County Commercial Banking group. Lee is a 22-year veteran of the banking industry and joins City National from MUFG Union Bank in Irvine. In his new capacity, Lee’s responsibilities include developing new middle market commercial clients through referrals and calling efforts as well as underwriting and packaging commercial loan requests. He will network through various civic and trade organizations to generate new business opportunities and to promote City National. He will work closely with other areas of the bank, including Personal and Business Banking, Private Banking and Real Estate Banking to deliver an unparalleled experience to clients.
Prior to joining City National, Lee served as director and senior relationship manager for MUFG Union Bank in Orange County. He held a variety of positions with MUFG Union Bank for nearly 18 years. He also served as assistant vice president for nearly five years in US Bank’s Commercial Banking group in Newport Beach, where he began his banking career in 2000.
Lee is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He also earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Chapman University.
