Meals on Wheels Orange County welcomes Madelynn Hirneise as its President and Chief Executive Officer, ushering in the organization’s next chapter of mission-driven innovation to support the wellness, purpose and dignity of older adults as demand for senior services continues to grow across Orange County.
Hirneise, a respected nonprofit leader, brings extensive experience in strategic growth, community impact and person-centered services. She joins Meals on Wheels OC from Families Forward, Orange County’s leading nonprofit serving families facing homelessness, where she championed programs focused on stability, dignity and long-term support for vulnerable community members. Those same values are at the heart of Meals on Wheels OC’s mission to nourish the lives of older adults.
Meals on Wheels OC provides more than 27,000 meals per week, including culturally inspired and medically tailored menus through its Food as Equity initiative. Beyond meal delivery, the organization provides Adult Day Health Care, Enhanced Care Management, Friendly Visitors and other services that help older adults remain safe, connected and independent in the communities they call home. Hirneise’s leadership comes at a pivotal time as Meals on Wheels OC continues expanding its integrated approach to senior nutrition, wellness and supportive care services.
