King’s Seafood Company has announced two key leadership appointments as part of the company’s continued focus on operational excellence, culinary innovation, and long-term brand growth.

Kelly Ellerman has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer, elevating a 26-year company veteran into an expanded leadership role overseeing day-to-day operations across the organization. Most recently serving as Chief People Officer, Ellerman has played a central role in shaping the company’s culture, operational foundation, management training programs, and employee experience initiatives. Under the new alignment, Ellerman will lead operational execution across the restaurant group while Founder and CEO Sam King focuses more deeply on brand development, culinary direction, restaurant design, and concept innovation.

Additionally, Mike Flynn has joined King’s Seafood Company as Vice President of Culinary & Brand Development for the organization’s King’s Fish House division following the company’s recently announced strategic integration deal with award-winning Orange County restaurant O SEA. Flynn began his career with King’s Seafood Company early on and now returns in a leadership role focused on culinary innovation and brand development across the division.
