LSL is proud to announce the addition of Christian Townes, CPA, into the company’s partnership. She brings more than 12 years of experience in public accounting. Her background includes Government Accounting, GASB, Single Audit, Process Improvement, Assurance Services, Audit Financial Statements, Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Federal Grant Compliance.
As an assurance and advisory partner, Townes oversees engagements for a variety of governmental clients. She will focus on growing the firm’s expanding assurance and advisory practice and handling general oversight of client engagements. Her responsibilities will also include staff training and career development.
Prior to her promotion, Townes held the position of Senior Manager at LSL.
Townes holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Economics from The College at Brockport State University of New York. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA).
