A veteran of corporate accounting, Chasity Kopeny is now the Director of Finance, Accounting, and Business Operations at Antis Roofing & Waterproofing. Her responsibilities will include oversight of all financial operations including accounting, finance, risk and asset management, and payroll. She will also manage internal IT functions and external IT partnerships.
Since 2019, Kopeny has served Antis’ Finance Department in various roles starting as a senior accountant. Her extensive experience with previous companies resulted in quick promotions to supervisor, then manager, and finally controller. Kopeny has added many improvements to the department, including a new job costing process that had disappeared after the company shifted to a new accounting system.
Kopeny’s 26 years in the accounting and finance arena has given her a broad understanding and keen eye for best practices in running the finance side of small and medium-size businesses. She received multiple recognitions from her previous employer and is the recipient of three internal employee awards from Antis.
Outside of work, Kopeny has participated in the Ellevate Network (a global community that fosters leadership and provides resources to women seeking career growth) as a squad member and facilitator. She also organizes her department’s annual United Way Youth Career Connections Summer Workplace Mentorship program.
