Howard’s Makes Another Retail Buy

La Habra appliance retailer Howard’s bought Taylor’s Appliance, expanding the chain’s reach in the Inland Empire.

The 75-year-old appliance retailer, started by Harold Taylor, is located in Riverside and is run by Taylor’s grandson Scott Taylor.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Howard’s will officially begin operation in the new location January 2022.

The deal for Howard’s is the second after its purchase of Midway Home Solutions in June.  It now has 15 locations.

The Midway purchase brought the company’s footprint to the High Desert, where it added a 45,000-square-foot showroom, 50,000-square-foot distribution center and 41 employees under the deal.
