Octane Resets Two Meetings

Octane has rescheduled conferences in response to the coronavirus outbreak and after new statewide work and travel restrictions were ordered yesterday.

The Irvine-based technology and healthcare business accelerator said its Technology Innovation Forum will move from May to September and the Ophthalmology Technology Summit will move from June to the end of July.

The changes are notable in part because they were originally scheduled beyond most current moves by OC groups and businesses, which have focused on March and April events.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom yesterday said via executive order that non-essential businesses should curtail all activities; the edict has no official end date.
