Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim centerfielder Mike Trout paid $9.2 million for a Newport Beach home.
The Business Journal reported on the sale of the Harbor Ridge property in its Aug. 12 print edition; at the time a buyer wasn’t disclosed.
The Orange County Register last night said the 28-year-old Trout, who signed a 12-year, $430 million contract with the Angels in March, is the buyer.
