Australia’s Dexus Property Group, which opened an office in Newport Beach last year, paid $18.3 million for a 292,000 industrial building at 5911 Fresca Drive in La Palma. The building, which includes some 1,600 square feet of office space, is partially leased by Iron Mountain Inc. This will be the third local buy for Dexus, which has said that it is looking to spend $100 million or so on Southern California deals. Last year, the local operations and staff of Newport Beach-based Master Develop-ment Corp. were folded into Dexus, one of the largest commercial property owners in Australia. Both Dexus and seller Fresca Industrial Park were represented by Cameron Driscoll and Luke McDaniel of the Anaheim office of Voit Real Estate Services.
