Irvine-based First PacTrust Bancorp Inc. will change its corporate name to Banc of California Inc.
The name change follows the completion of the bank’s acquisition of Los Angeles-based Private Bank of California.
First PacTrust operates through its Pacific Trust Bank and Private Bank of California subsidiaries.
It’s among the largest commercial banks based in Orange County, with $3 billion in assets.
