TECHNOLOGY
Irvine-based Western Digital Corp. was down 8% to $41.37 and a $9.6 billion market cap. The memory products maker’s shares declined as competitor Seagate Technology issued preliminary earnings below previous guidance. Seagate, in Cupertino, was down 19% to $27.43 and a market cap of $8.1 billion.
SERVICES
Anaheim-based Willdan Group Inc. was up 4.4% to $10.62 and an $87 million market cap. The engineering firm recently announced contracts with utilities in New York and California and shares have risen 23% this month on above average volume.
