Irvine-based TRI Pointe Homes Inc. rose about 3% to $16.67 for a market value of $527.31 million.
Sidoti & Company LLC raised its rating on the company’s stock from “neutral” to “buy.”
HEALTHCARE
Anaheim-based drug maker Questcor Pharmaceuticals Inc. rose about 2% to $90.01 for a recent market value of $5.32 billion.
SERVICES
Newport Beach patent licensing company Acacia Research Corp. was off about 3% to $14.85 for a market value of $743.42 million. The company held its annual meeting on Thursday, when shareholders elected two board members and approved executive compensation.
