TECHNOLOGY
Irvine-based Montrose Environmental Group Inc. (NYSE: MEG) rose 11% to $26.29 per share for a market cap of $548.5 million. Needham yesterday initiated coverage of Montrose with a buy and a $32 price target. Shares in the air quality and environmental services company have risen 75% since its July 23 IPO at $15 a share.
RETAIL
Tilly’s Inc. (Nasdaq: TLYS) fell 6.9% to $5.63 per share for a market cap of $168 million. Shares of the Irvine-based chain of retail stores have tumbled almost 14% over the last month, as retail stores struggle to draw back customers kept away by the COVID-19 pandemic. Tilly’s will release second-quarter financial results on Sept. 3.
