Skyworks Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: SWKS) in Irvine rose 1.4% to $104.72 for a $17.8 billion market cap. BofA Merrill Lynch upgraded the chipmaker by two notches to “buy” with a price target of $122, saying 5G adoption will drive growth rates.
HEALTHCARE
Axonics Modulation Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: AXNX) rose 4.4% to $25.32 and an $837 million market cap. The Irvine-based maker of medical devices to treat bladder maladies and incontinence yesterday said a physician survey suggests increases in implants of such devices next year.
