The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.4% to 26,151.28.
The Nasdaq was up 0.1% to 7,834.42.
The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond decreased 0.8% to 2.5%.
The price of gold was down 0.1% to $1,294.
The price of a barrel of oil increased 1.2% to $62.33.

BioCorRx Inc. (OTC: BICX) in Anaheim surged 13% to $4.45 and a $12 million market cap. The alcohol and opioid addiction treatment program developer this morning said it raised $6 million from two investors in a private placement.
REAL ESTATE
William Lyon Homes (NYSE: WLH) in Newport Beach was down 4% to $14.88 and a $540 million market cap. The homebuilder’s shares, which are trading at about 30% their daily average, are up 51% since hitting a 52-week low of $9.85 on Dec. 26. Shares of three other OC-based homebuilders also fell today as did the S&P Composite 1500 Homebuilding Index, which was off 0.4%.
