Habit Restaurants Inc. (Nasdaq: HABT) in Irvine jumped 15% to $12.99 with a market cap of $338.6 million. The fast food chain released better-than-expected fourth quarter earnings Thursday reporting total revenue of $102.7 million, up 21% year-over-year and topping analysts’ expectations of $99.8 million. The company also forecast 2019 revenue from $458 million to $462 million, which also topped analysts’ consensus.
RETAIL
San Clemente-based ICU Medical Inc. (Nasdaq: ICUI) was up 4.5% to $256.92 with a market cap of $5.3 billion. It reported fourth quarter revenue Thursday of $340.4 million and forecast 2019 adjusted profit of $9 to $9.90, compared with an average estimate of $9.40. Shares for the maker of medical technologies in vascular therapy have climbed 10% this year.
