Ubiquity Inc. in Irvine was up 300% to 24 cents and a $70 million market cap. The multimedia firm has been embroiled in shareholder controversy and a participant last month in a Securities and Exchange Commission enforcement hearing. About 2.6 million shares have traded hands today compared with a 90-day average of 40,000.
