Shannon Eusey, who built Newport Beach’s Beacon Pointe Advisors into a registered investment advisory firm with $60 billion in assets under management or advisement, is handing the chief executive title to her long-time president, Matthew Cooper.
Eusey is transitioning to a new role as chair of the company’s board of directors, Beacon Pointe said in a statement. Cooper has been president at Beacon Pointe for 15 years.
“This transition is a thoughtful and personal decision, and I look forward to supporting Matt and our exceptional leadership team as Beacon Pointe enters its next chapter,” Eusey said in the statement.
