Anaheim Bird-Seed Company in Recall

Anaheim-based Magnolia Bird Farm Inc. has announced a voluntary recall of some of its products that might carry salmonella risks.

No illnesses have been reported of date.

Recalled products include Magnolia’s bird seed mixes and in-shell peanuts. Magnolia’s recall follows a September announcement that Portola, N.M.-based Sunland Inc. would recall its peanuts that might be contaminated by Salmonella.

“We sent everything that had to do with the peanuts back, and we have all the new stuff in,” President Frank Miser said.

Magnolia has about $4 million in revenue and 41 employees in Anaheim and Riverside.
