Hospitality firm adds five San Luis Obispo properties to management portfolio

Irvine-based KSL Resorts has taken over the management of five new properties, all located on San Luis Obispo county, as of this month.

The new resorts added 346 rooms to the hospitality firm’s portfolio which now includes the Avila Lighthouse Suites in Avila Beach, Pismo Lighthouse Suites and Shore Cliff Hotel in Pismo Beach, the Paso Robles Inn and The Piccolo in Paso Robles.

The central coast hotels were previously operated by San Luis Obispo-based Martin Resorts. Its Chief Executive, Noreen Martin, will become a member of KSL’s advisory board.

“Like many of the other world-class resorts in our collection, each of these welcoming properties has much to offer its guests from proximity to hiking trails to ocean views to access to the area’s top wineries,” KSL CEO Scott Dalecio said in a statement.

The hotel operator’s first steps are to add programming based off the hotels’ environment and existing “personalities”, according to Dalecio.

KSL now manages 45 properties across the U.S. Its previous addition was the 449-room Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa Valley last February.
