Gordon Ramsey Restaurant Opens at Downtown Disney

Celebrity chef brings The Carnaby, a 1960s British-themed gastropub, to the Disneyland Resort

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, who has dozens of restaurants across the U.S., is opening his first Orange County restaurant today at the Downtown Disney District.

Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby is a 1960s British pub developed in collaboration with the parent company of Earl of Sandwich. The new concept, the first Ramsay restaurant on any Disney property, serves classic British pub dishes from the celebrity chef, such as beef Wellington, fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding. Currently, the restaurant serves dinner and will expand to breakfast and lunch in the coming months.

The pub features two outdoor terraces and a bar area. Accommodating 175 guests, it is on the second floor of the recently constructed Earl of Sandwich next to the west entrance of Downtown Disney by Din Tai Fung. The design was inspired by London’s Carnaby Street during the 1960s.

Anaheim’s Downtown Disney ranks No. 6 among Orange County’s top shopping centers with 12-month sales of $430 million.
