Hotel Manager Adds Three

Twenty Four Seven Hotels in Newport Beach added three management contracts, including a Buena Park hotel scheduled to open in August.

The deals are for a Hampton Inn & Suites in Buena Park, a TownePlace Suites in Chino Hills, and another TownePlace Suites in Merced; the three combined have 305 rooms.

The new deals bring the management company’s total to 23 hotels in four western states with about 2,800 rooms; most of them are in California and the new Buena Park contract will be its second hotel in OC; the other is TownePlace Suites in Anaheim.

Most of its properties are Marriott or Hilton brands with between 100 and 150 rooms—Hampton Inn is Hilton and TownePlace Suites is Marriott, for instance—including the first U.S. Moxy, in Tempe, Ariz.

Moxy is a Marriott “lifestyle” hotel that targets a lower price point than its AC Hotels, such as the one that recently opened at Park Place in Irvine.

The company is led by Chief Executive David Wani and President Drew Hardy.
