NAMM Returns to the Anaheim Convention Center

The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) will take place this weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Running from June 3-5, NAMM is anticipated to generate almost $77 million in economic impact for both the city and Orange County.

The convention, booked by Visit Anaheim, is one of the largest trade association events in the country with over 10,000 member companies in the music and sound industry from over 100 countries. The NAMM foundation has donated over $75,000 to Anaheim schools focused on music education opportunities over the years.

This year’s event will also support over 26,000 local jobs.

NAMM is one of four citywide conventions taking place this month, with 17 total events booked for June. Those events are expected to generate $2 million in tax revenue for Anaheim, the largest amount produced in a single month since 2019.

“With some of Visit Anaheim’s largest conventions taking place in June, the community and the economy will be feeling their presence in a positive way with nearly $186 million projected to be spent by attendees while in town for the month,” Anaheim’s destination marketing organization CEO Jay Burress said in a statement.
