Terran Orbital Gets Additional $7.7M from Lockheed Martin

Company's shares rise

Satellite maker Terran Orbital Corp. (NYSE: LLAP) said today it had been awarded a $7.7 million contract modification from Lockheed Martin to handle additional payloads.
The modification brings the total value of the contract to just over $52 million. Terran is based in Florida but has the bulk of its operations in Irvine.
 
Shares in Terran rose 1.4% to 84 cents apiece for a market cap of $175 million.
 
Separately, Terran said yesterday that its subsidiary, Tyvak International, has been awarded a $4.7 million contract by the European Space Agency.
