Midday Stock Roundup

The S&P 500 was up 0.2% in Monday midday trading to 4.379.89.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.3% to 34.984.20.

The Nasdaq was flat at 14,706.74.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond increased 1.3% to 1.373%

The price of gold was down 0.3% to $1,805.20.

The price for a barrel of oil decreased to 0.8% to $74.00.

TECHNOLOGY

Irvine-based memory products maker Netlist Inc. (OTC: NLST) jumped 13% to $6.75 and a $1.5 billion market cap. Shares, currently trading at almost three times their average daily volume, hit a new 52-week high of $6.92 earlier Monday. Shares have more than doubled in the past month.

GAN Ltd. (Nasdaq: GAN) fell 4.7% to $16.22 and a $682 million market cap. Shares in the Irvine-based online gambling tech company are down more than 30% in the past six months. The company, which works with casinos and others looking to boost their online gambling and sports betting presence, went public in the U.S. in May 2020 after previously being listed on the London Stock Exchange. Shares are still up 91% from its $8.50 IPO price.
