Automobile tech company Indie Semiconductor Inc. in Aliso Viejo said second-quarter revenue was $25.8 million, up 181% from the same period a year earlier.
The company (Nasdaq: INDI) also reported a net loss of $5.3 million in the second quarter after a nearly $13 million gain in the year-ago period.
Chief Financial Officer Thomas Schiller said in today’s earnings release that “we are on track to reach profitability in the second half of next year.”
Indie Semiconductor shares were up 3.6% to $8.12 apiece in after-hours trading in New York. The company is led by CEO Donald McClymont.
