Habit Burger Grill today announced the grand opening of its new location in Garden Grove on August 17th.
The new restaurant on Chapman Ave. marks its 25th location in Orange County and joins the Irvine-based chain’s 335 companywide stores.
Acquired by Yum Brands Inc. (NYSE: YUM) in 2020, the parent company reported last week the Habit’s system sales grew 10% for the second quarter while same-store sales fell 4%. Total revenues for the quarter ended June were $138 million.
The restaurant will offer dine-in, takeout and drive-thru ordering along with curbside pick-up and delivery. The new location opens after the burger brand added seven new restaurants during the second quarter.
Habit ranks No. 7 in the Business Journal’s list of OC based restaurant chains determined by systemwide sales. Yum Brands also operates Irvine-based Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut.
