Two Orange County website operators that offer discount deals from businesses are combining.
Irvine-based DealPerk LLC is being acquired by San Juan Capistrano’s Screamin Daily Deals Inc., according to news site Socaltech.com.
Terms of the deal, presumably small, weren’t disclosed.
Both companies run websites that promote discount offers from companies.
DealPerk’s perk of the day Friday was an $87, two-hour boat tour of Newport Harbor for eight people.
Screamin Daily Deals offers a Newport Harbor cruise for $9 per person.
DealPerk, which is headed by Albert Ko, got its start in early 2009 as CheapIrvine.com with coupons focused on Irvine.
Screamin Daily Deals was started in January in Santa Clarita by Benson Kane and business partner Dan Griffith.
The company moved its headquarters to San Juan Capistrano soon after.
