Ware Malcomb, the third largest architectural firm in Orange County, said Chief Executive Lawrence “Larry” Armstrong, who joined the firm in the 1980s, has transitioned to chairman of the board.
“It has been the honor of a lifetime to have the opportunity to lead this incredible firm and its team of talented professionals for the past 28 years,” Armstrong said in a statement. “Together, we have grown Ware Malcomb from our foundation as a strong regional operation to a leading international design firm with a future that has never been brighter.”
Kenneth Wink has been appointed CEO and Jay Todisco has been promoted to president. Both were previously executive vice presidents for more than 20 years at the firm.
Regional Vice President Matt Brady and Chief Financial Officer Tobin Sloane were promoted to EVPs.
Irvine-based Ware Malcomb has about 195 local employees.
