Huntington Beach-based insurance provider Confie announced the acquisition of three more insurance agencies on Monday. It acquired Most Insurance LLC in Tampa, Fla.; Fair Price Insurance Inc. in The Bronx, N.Y. and Duane Sammons Insurance Center Inc. in Bellingham, Wash.
Most Insurance is a family-owned and operated company focusing on auto, home and small commercial coverage in the Tampa area.
Confie’s acquisition of Fair Price Insurance, a specialty auto insurance agency, increases its presence in the New York region.
Duane Sammons is a personal and small commercial insurance provider that has served the Bellingham market for 30 years.
Confie was founded in 2008 and has grown in large part via acquisitions of smaller brokerage firms throughout the U.S., now totaling more than 100. It has grown to some 700 retail offices and about $500 million in annual revenue.
It’s a portfolio company of Abry Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm.
