Super73 Names New CEO

Chief Operating Officer Travis Erwin promoted to top role

Electric bike manufacturer Super73 has promoted Chief Operating Officer Travis Erwin to Chief Executive in October.

He takes over the top spot from co-founders Michael Cannavo and Aaron Wong, who had stepped up as interim co-CEOs last August when the company was struggling.

“Neither of us aspired to that role, but the time had come where it was no longer a choice,” Cannavo wrote in a post on LinkedIn announcing Erwin’s appointment. “To keep SUPER73 alive, we had to figure it out.”

Erwin first joined Super73, with offices in Irvine and San Clemente, as COO in August 2024. He was previously the chief revenue officer at The Pro’s Closet in Colorado and before that held several leadership roles at Reynolds Cycling in Sandy, Utah.

Cannavo, who returned to the role of chief marketing officer, said that “SUPER73 is the strongest it’s ever been” thanks to systems implemented by Erwin and the team.

“I’m grateful for this moment, humbled by the responsibility, and inspired by the people who make it all possible,” Erwin wrote on LinkedIn.
