H Mart announced it will open its third Irvine location on January 11 at Northpark Plaza, an Irvine Co. retail property, on Irvine Blvd.
It will be taking over the spot of a shuttered Albertsons. The H Mart was initially expected to open in late 2021.
The 53,341-square-foot store marks the grocer’s 16th location in California and Orange County’s fifth.
The supermarket chain’s newest food court will include Hangwoman’s Korean dumplings, K-POP Street Food, a Tous les Jours bakery and others.
Serving both traditional Asian and American groceries, H Mart counts over 90 stores in the U.S.
