The four largest Orange County-based automakers trailed the national sales pace for new vehicles in June, according to New Jersey-based market researcher Autodata Corp.
June U.S. auto sales declined 3% year-over-year, on sales of 1.4 million cars and light trucks. U.S. automakers are on track to sell 16.5 million vehicles in 2017. Dealers have sold 8.4 million vehicles at the midpoint, a 2.1% dip compared with the first six months of 2016.
