Kia Motors America Inc. is fueling marketing efforts around its new mid-sized sedan, the K5.
The recently released model, which replaced the Optima sedan, will be played up Tuesday in a Twitter livestream aimed at highlighting the K5’s performance abilities. The Irvine-based automaker tapped action director Darrin Prescott to shoot for the livestream.
The stream will feature professional driver Collete Davis, actor Jeremy Ray Valdez and stunt drivers Jalil Jay and Brionna Lynch.
The Twitter livestream is just one part of a multi-pronged campaign that will also include branding when the 72nd Emmy Awards nominations are announced Tuesday. That’s in addition to print, digital, social and broadcast.
Kia works with El Segundo-based advertising agency David & Goliath for its creative, in addition to Innocean USA of Huntington Beach for media, digital, social and experiential.
