Anaheim-based Pacsun has launched a new shoppable mobile app called PS Community Hub that combines e-commerce with social media. Â
“Everyday users and creators will have the opportunity to collaborate, share authentic content, participate in immersive experiences, and engage with like-minded peers, all while enjoying social shopping experiences that convert engagement into sales,” Pacsun said in a statement.Â
The digital platform allows customers to purchase Pacsun products as well as create profiles to post photos and videos or act as a content creator by “building a store” for other users to browse on the app. Top users can also monetize their content. Â
“By harnessing AI, advanced algorithms, and cloud-native technologies, we are building a next-generation mobile platform designed specifically for Pacsun’s Gen Z and Gen Alpha customers, the most digitally fluent generations to date,” Chief Digital and Information Officer Shirley Gao said. Â
The retailer operates more than 300 stores in the U.S. and will open its first international location at the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai in spring 2026.  Â
